A customer bought this laptop together with the USB-C universal docking station. He is using a 3D designers application that is quite demanding, which really needs to be used with the Nvidia Quadro graphics to work properly. When running the app on the laptop alone, it works perfectly, but when docking station is connected, app hangs and doesn't seem to use the Nvidia graphics despite "saying so".
I helped him to update all graphics drivers (from support website) and dock firmware. We're only using DisplayPort cables to the monitors. When first connecting the dock, it works for a few minutes but after a while app hangs again.
Logically, because the app is working on the laptop when dock is not connected, the issue should be with the dock. Also, it wouldn't be the first time it happened to the Zbook series... I've had similar issues with the G2 and G3 models during the years.
Anyone have a solution to this?
