thanks but first do you think updating bios would change anything ? if yes can you tell me how ?

don't you think it is  hardware problem ?

however, i can't find any drivers or bios for my notbook (hp 15-ay109ne)

i use drivers of this version:

https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-15-ay100-notebook-pc/12499456

but i'm not sure that bios update is correct for my device & i fear that this would be danger

Hi,

as The_Fossette is out of the office today, I'm replying to you.

I suggest you to avoid the BIOS update as of now and refer to this HP document that explains the details of this issue you are facing with the display. Also, would suggest you to go through this HP document to understand that common issues with laptop displays.

Please feel free to let me know how it goes. Cheers! 🙂
