HP-17-cn0010ca laptop

Hello, looking for some help or information, I am using a HP2159m 22" monitor, hooked up to a HP computer which is about 10 yr.. It has died am looking at purchasing this HP17cn0010ca 17 laptop, the screen resolution is 1600x600, I want to hook up this older monitor to it, will it run in 192x1080 or just 1600x600. Any help is appreciated

It has  HDMI 1.4b port which supports external monitors up to 4096×2160 at 24 Hz, 3840×2160 at 24, 25, and 30 Hz, and 1920×1080 at 120 Hz.

Hello, thank you for your reply, so you are saying this HP2159m should work with a resolution of 1920x1080, even though the HP17cn0010ca with a resolution of 1600x600 will allow my older monitor to work properly, I am an older man of 72 with a little bit of  eye site loss,
