Try these steps:

Restart Your Laptop: Sometimes a simple restart can resolve driver issues caused by an update.

 

Check Device Manager: Press Win + X and select Device Manager. Expand Human Interface Devices and look for HID-compliant touch screen. If it is disabled, right-click and select Enable. If it is missing, click View > Show hidden devices. If you see a yellow triangle, right-click and select Update Driver.

 

Roll Back the Driver: In Device Manager, right-click on HID-compliant touch screen. Select Properties > Driver tab > Roll Back Driver (if available).

 

Run Windows Updates: Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and install any pending updates.

 

Reinstall Touchscreen Driver: In Device Manager, right-click on HID-compliant touch screen. Select Uninstall device and restart your laptop. Windows should automatically reinstall the driver.

 

Reset BIOS (If Needed): Shut down your laptop. Turn it back on and press F10 repeatedly to enter BIOS. Select Restore Defaults, then Save and Exit.
