having a laptop Hp pavillion , already one week the black colour line across horizontally is getting thicker and I just don't know how to get rid of it
already tested on others monitor and it doesn't appear but only on this laptop screen
help pleases, your advice is very much appreciated.

I saw your post on you are getting horizontal lines on your laptop. I am happy to help you with this issue!
- I appreciate that you already connected the external monitor to this laptop and checked and it looks fine,
- I request you to check if you are getting this horizontal lines in BIOS screen
To enter into bios screen follow these steps:
- Turn on or restart the computer.
- While the display is blank, press the f10 key to enter the BIOS settings menu.
- Check if you are getting horizontal lines in this screen,
If the issue persists in BIOS screen then it’s a hardware issue, Contact HP phone support for further assistance.

Thanks for the update.
As I understand the lines are present even on the Bios screen, which clearly indicates a hardware issue. I would recommend you contact our HP phone support for available service options. Please fill in the product details to get the tech support number.
What you can do, is use the following link to create yourself a case number, then call and it may help speed up the call process:
Step 1. Open link: http://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp
Step 2. Enter Product number or select to auto detect
Step 3. Scroll down to "Still need help? Complete the form to select your contact options"
Step 4. Scroll down and click on HP contact options - click on Get phone number
Case number and phone number appear.
