Hello Protractor.
Have you tried performing a hard reset? Here are the steps.
- Shut down the notebook.
- Remove the battery and AC power.
- Press and hold the power button for 10-15 seconds three times.
- Replace the batery and AC power.
- Verify whether the problem persists.

It is made that way. The blue tinted screen is a non-LED HD screen that you would've gotten if you had bought the higher-end models, (e.g. Intel Core i3 processor) and is not blue because of any damage or defect. I just replaced my screen with a non-LED screen and it is visibly tinted blue. There is nothing wrong with it because of this, outside of a need to adjust and re-adjust your chosen video colors and controls.
The "Appearance & Personalization" choices for "Window Color" cannot affect this blue tinting so not to waste your time with that. Right-click on your Desktop area and go into your graphics dashboard, whether Intel or AMD, and move the CONTRAST right and left to adjust-out some of this tinting. These settings affect the way the Desktop looks and over-all computer generated visuals. That is all you can do.
