HP Specter x360 Convertible 13-ae0xx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a 4K Dell monitor attached to one of the USB-C ports working great. I have an identical, second 4K Dell monitor that I would like to also run off this notebook. Is that possible? The other USB-C port is being used for power, but assuming I could use a splitter for both power and video off that second port, I am wondering if there is enough video memory to run a second 4K monitor, plus the main screen of course.

I used the Thunderbolt 3 Dual DisplayPort Adapter and it worked great.

What is your HP Specter x360 Convertible 13-ae0xx  ?  Please note: total pixels or 2 monitors can't be greater than total pixels  the video card supports.

Regards.

Thank you for your question - it is HP Spectre x360 - 13t-ae000 CTO. The serial number is 5CD8153TMG and it was registered with HP 4/22/2018. The HP Support Assistant reports 4,145 MB of graphics memory. The laptop screen is 3840x2160 and the external 4K Dell is the same. So is the second external Dell 4K I would like to attach.

If each pixel is one byte, then to run the displays is 8 MB each, so there should be plenty of graphics memory for three 4K displays. I do expect it is more complicated since the graphics memory is needed for more than just the display surface.

But for starters my question is will it even work at all and if so then what kind of USB-C extender do I need to do this for this laptop that only has two USB-C ports.

As hoped and expected I was able to drive both Dell 4K monitors and the laptop's 4K screen simultaneously!

However I still need a multiport adapter with an HDMI port that also can charge the laptop at the same time. Is there such a thing? Or alternatively a multiport adapter with two HDMI ports that can both work independently at the same time?
