Hi @davericardo
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for reaching out.
I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble with your TouchPad gestures on your HP Laptop 14-bp0xx. Let’s gently walk through some steps together to get those smooth gestures working again.
Check if TouchPad is Enabled
- Go to Settings → Bluetooth & Devices → Touchpad.
- Make sure the Touchpad toggle is turned ON.
Check TouchPad Gesture Settings
- In Settings → Bluetooth & Devices → Touchpad, click Gestures & interaction.
- Confirm that multi-finger gestures (like two-finger scrolling and three-finger swipes) are enabled and set to your preference.
Update or Reinstall TouchPad Drivers
- Press Windows + X and select Device Manager.
- Expand Mice and other pointing devices.
- Right-click your Synaptics/ELAN/Precision TouchPad device and select Update driver.
- Choose Search automatically for drivers.
If it still doesn’t work:
- In the same list, Uninstall device.
- Restart your laptop — Windows should reinstall the driver automatically.
Hope this helps, Please revert if the issue persists.
Take care and have an amazing day!
I'm an HP Employee.
