Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I bought 2 HP 27er monitors that came with 2 HDMI and 1 VGA connections. My laptop has an HDMI port, as does my docking station. Have tried 'daisy chaining' the monitors to the PC and have tried  going to the docking station as well. The docking station is connected to the PC via USB.

No matter which way I go, neither one will use the 2nd monitor. Both monitors' power cable is plugged in, both are turned on, and I'm going to Windows Display Settings. It sees the first 27er but cannot detect the 2nd.

This is not going to work. What is your dock ? Does it support more than 1 monitor or is it a DisplayLink certified dock ? What is your machine ?  Please use the following instructions to find out the model/product of your machine:

Please do NOT post its Serial number (s/n).

My docking station is a PLUGABLE USB 3.0 docking station.

Yes, it can support both HDMI and VGA connections for monitors.

I've tried locating my product name (via your link) but could only find the product #: 00325-80000-00000-AAEOM. I only found that by looking at "My PC" properties.  There is no 'label' on either the top or bottom of the laptop

And no, I wouldn't want to transmit the serial number either.

No, please DO NOT find 00325-80000-00000-AAEOM. The link tells you few ways to look for model/product number. Please look at the video on the following link

There are few PLUGABLE USB 3.0 docking station models. Are you sure it is DisplayLink certified ?
