Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I updated the BIOS of my HP Envy notebook 2 days ago through HP automatic update. After that, it cannot detect the external moniitor. Rather the external display says "No Signal!" for once and no display anymore. I tested the external monitor and HDMI cable using another laptop and found working well. Please help.

I downloaded latest BIOS update from HP support site and installed. Problem solved - external monitor works.

The same thing has happened to me as well after this update -- This is actually the second time this has happened after a BIOS update (it happened in late Decemeber/early January as well).

I do need to get the second monitor working to be able to use the computer the way I want. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Reloading the BIOS worked for me as well -- Thanks!

I have the same issue. After an update, hdmi no longer detects external monitor and only see "no signal' message from display. Is there a solution posted?
