Microsoft Windows 11

Got a ugreen hub ( UC490) wich is connected to my hp laptop (15s-fq2021nj) vi c-type connector.

the hub includes two hdmi ports which are connected to two displays. once connected i dont see any of my screens.

ive updated the bios and all drivers possible but corrently all for not.

* once connecting usb device to the HUB i do see and hear the sound that the OS recognise them, yet when connectig the HDMI it doesnt.

* the HUB is OK since it works on different laptop (different vendor) that ive connected fot test.

Please advice

Mike.

Its specs :  https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c07042603

It ONLY has 1 hopeless SuperSpeed USB Type-C® 5Gbps signaling rate port which does NOT support Alt mode nor Power Delivery. You can NOT use it to

  • Charge your machine,
  • Connect to an external monitor with/without hub/dock/adapter (some hubs may have builtin chip to support this)

If you wish to connect 2 external monitors (only-total 3), you can use

  • Monitor 1: HDMI direct cable,
  • Monitor 2: Using a Displaylink Certified USB-A to HDMI adapter such as

                                     USB to HDMI Adapter
