X360 convertible touchscreen chromebook
Chrome OS

Bought my son the HP X360 Convertible Touchscreen Chromebook (from Target) for Christmas. He has complained since he got it that his cursor disappears often and he has to restart the chromebook in order to get it back. I ignored him for a while, thinking it would work itself out but recently I worked on the chromebook with him as he completed a report. Sure enough, the cursor disappeared shortly after we began using google docs. He had to manually use his finger on the touchscreen in order to edit and it was very inconvenient. Is there something we can do to keep this from happneing ot do we just have a dud machine?
