Hi @MrAgrawal,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
A dead pixel or white dot on an HP laptop's screen can be frustrating, but there are a few things you can try to fix the issue. Here are some steps you can take.
- Run pixel-fixing software: There are several software programs available that claim to be able to fix dead pixels. These programs work by rapidly flashing different colors on the screen, which can sometimes unstick a stuck pixel. However, it's important to note that these programs may not work for all dead pixels.
- Apply pressure: Sometimes applying gentle pressure to the affected area of the screen can unstick a dead pixel. Use a soft cloth or your finger, and press gently on the pixel for a few seconds.
- Replace the screen: If none of the above steps work, you may need to replace the screen. This can be done by a professional technician or by yourself if you have the necessary skills and tools.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
