Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

My new HP laptop shows my desktop apps as the EDGE icon  I'd rather have the logo of the app I've downloaded.  Is that no longer an option?

You can change each icon to what ever you like in icon library. Please try

 

  1. Right click an icon (or corrupted one),
  2. Select Show more options,
  3. Select Properties (at the bottom),
  4. Click Change icon,
  5. Now you can see a list of many icons, select the one you prefer.
  6. Click Ok/Apply
