Hi @balumahipal
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.
The blurry display corners on your HP 15-gw0000 Laptop PC after a Windows 11 update could be caused by outdated or incompatible display drivers, incorrect resolution settings, or scaling issues.
Here’s how you can troubleshoot and resolve this:
Step 1: Update Display Drivers
- Open Device Manager (search for it in the Start menu).
- Expand Display Adapters and right-click your graphics card (e.g., AMD Radeon or Intel Graphics).
- Select Update Driver > Search automatically for drivers.
- If no updates are found, visit the HP Support page or your graphics card manufacturer’s website (e.g., AMD or Intel) to download and install the latest drivers.
Step 2: Adjust Display Resolution
- Go to Settings > System > Display.
- Under Display Resolution, ensure it’s set to the recommended resolution for your screen (e.g., 1920 x 1080 for Full HD displays).
- Apply the changes and check if the issue persists.
Step 3: Check Scaling Settings
- In the same Display settings menu, scroll down to Scale and Layout.
- Set the scaling to 100% (Recommended) or adjust it to see if it resolves the blurriness.
Step 4: Roll Back or Reinstall Drivers
- In Device Manager, right-click your graphics card and select Properties.
- Go to the Driver tab and click Roll Back Driver if the option is available.
- If rolling back doesn’t work, uninstall the driver and restart your laptop. Windows will reinstall the default driver automatically.
Step 5: Update Windows
- Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.
- Check for updates and install any pending updates, as they may include fixes for display issues.
Step 6: Perform a Clean Boot
- Press Windows + R, type msconfig, and press Enter.
- Under the Services tab, check Hide all Microsoft services and click Disable all.
- Restart your laptop and check if the issue persists. If resolved, a third-party application may be causing the problem.
