OMEN Laptop - 17t-cb100 IDS Base Model
Microsoft Windows 11

i have an hp omen 17t-cb100 base model with an rtx 2060

i got it from a friend who recently bought a new pc and wanted to ask if the display goes beyond 60hz

i've been googling it alot and different people say the display can go up to 144hz or even 300hz, but im assuming thoes were only options when you could customize the specs

the laptop has since been discontinued so i cant check to see the different specs you could customize and see if its locked at 60hz or not

even the wayback machine has been unhelpful

  • eDP 1.2, A/P, 60 Hz
  • eDP 1.4 + PSR, A/P, 144 Hz
  • eDP 1.4 + PSR, 144 Hz
  • eDP 1.4 + PSR2, 60 Hz

It a CTO (Config to order) machine therefore you can see few options for Display on the following link

                  https://partsurfer.hp.com/partsurfer?searchtext=1B074AV

Probably you have to use System to find out. Please use System > Display > Advanced display

You will see its resolution and refresh rate
