Pavilion Laptop 15
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Trying to connect a USB-C monitor to the USB-C port on a HP Pavilion Laptop model 15-dw2025cl.

Monitor is not not recognized or powered by USB-c port although it works on cell phones (power and data)

Does this model support USB-C DP Alt Mode?

I can't find 15-dw2025cp, only 15-dw2025cl, its specs

             https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06632454

Its  SuperSpeed USB Type-C® 5Gbps signaling rate port does NOT support Alt mode nor Power Delivery. You can NOT use it to

  • Charger your machine
  • Connect to an external monitor with / without hub/dock/adapter

Regards.
