dropped computer and damaged touch screen

hi all, my son dropped his HP envy 15.6 2 in 1 laptop and the screen has a black big on it and a ding. I'm trying to work out whether it's cost effective to get it fixed or just replace the computer. saying that, the computer is only 3 months old 😞
