After having used an envy x360 13 for around a year I started noticing scrateches lining up with the line in between the edge of the keyboard and that of the trackpad where the chassis raises (picture below). The scratches are noticeable in bright light (picture below) and distracting when using the pen due to the screen not being smooth in that region. Given the regular shape they are most likely caused by the rubber pads not being able to stop the screen from touching the chassis when the laptop is closed and I'm wondering whether they are covered by my warranty.

I understand that this is an inconvenience.  Since the unit might need repair, I would request you to contact HP Phone support who can schedule a repair as per the warranty and the issue can be fixed.
