My laptop (HP Envy 17inch cr1005c1) has two graphic cards, 1) Intel(R) iris (R) XE graphics 2)  NVDIA GeForce RTX 3050 4GB Laptop GPU. The laptop display settings lists a max  resolution of 1920x1080.

Will this laptop support an external monitor with 2560x1440p resolution?

Will this laptop support an external monitor with 4K resolution?

I connected a 2k monitor using HDMI Cable but it is not showing me wider area of a chart on the external monitor?

Its specs

           https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/ish_8113272-8113356-16

which says it has HDMI v2.1 supporting: up to 4096 × 2160 @ 60 Hz with HDCP 2.3. Its screen supports 1920x1080 (no other options)  but you can use external 4K monitor @60Hz

Regards.
