for HP Pavilion Gaming - 15-ec1025ax which video connector pin is used 40 or 30  for display?

Below is the link to the parts list for your notebook:

You are going to have to know which display your notebook came with because the L71939-001 60 Hz display panel uses the 30-pin cable and the M20688-001 144Hz panel uses the 40-pin cable.

 

30-pin cable part:

LCD CABLE W/CAM CBL FOR FHD

 

40-pin cable part:

 

M57608-001
LCD CBL W/CAM CBL 144FHD/UHD 3.2
