the issue i am experience is quite common but didnt quite found solution online so came to good ol experts in hope of resolving the issue
the problem is when i game on my laptop it handles almost every game greatly with its gpu gtx 965m
but problem is after 10 to 20 mins game starts to lag for about 15 secs then restore to original speed
then again after 10 mins the game lags again
my temps are around 60 to 65 degrees Celsius which are normal temps for a gaming laptop
my all drivers are up to date and note is cooled by a cooling pad
so whats the issue here
any suggestions or solution would be appreciated

I appreciate you clarifying those details and yes, it would most definitely harm your computer,
Always make sure you upgrade the PSU when you get the information that the graphics card requires more than what you have.
I recommend you Contact the local tech and have him replace these parts to ensure it fits according to your needs before you leave the store to be on a safer side.

Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you.
I understand that you are facing issues with your OMEN by HP 17-w000 Laptop PC wherein the game starts to lag for about 15 secs after every 10 to 20 mins.
This issue could occur graphics drivers are not updated.
Let's go through a few steps that may help to fix this issue.
And here are a few steps for you in the link to update the Graphics Driver: NVIDIA Graphics Driver (Windows 10 v1703)
You may also update the BIOS from the link: HP Notebook System BIOS Update (Intel Processors)
You may also try the following steps:
Go to Start Menu > click on Settings.
Type performance > choose Adjust the appearance and performance of Windows.
In the new window, go to the Visual Effects and select Adjust for best performance.
click Apply and Ok.

i did all the steps u told above but they didnt changed anything
i have a quiery
A friend told me that since my laptop had gtx 965m i need to use 150w charge which i am not using at the moment(mine is 120w)
will using this harm my computer?
