I just purchased the hp omen 16 xf-0059AX(2023) a few days ago. I am now aware that this specific model has a design flaw causing the hall sensor to misfire. Since i am still in warranty, will it be possible to get a replacement and get the 2024 model having the same specifications- xd-0020AX.

To assist you further, here are the steps you can follow:
Run basic troubleshooting – Please make sure your system BIOS and drivers are fully updated using HP Support Assistant. Sometimes updates can improve sensor stability.
Check the issue physically – If the lid sensor is intermittently failing (screen not waking properly, sleep/wake issues), make a note of when and how often it occurs.
