I turned this feature on 2 days ago. I cannot find how to turn it off. I would to be able to see all open tabs/windows on my desktop. It is not focus, dynamic lighting, its a setting somewhere. I called HP support and they only wanted to sell me more coverage and would not just answer my question. Ive done this before and remember struggling to find hoe to disable inactive window dimming

These are same suggestions I can get from google.
I found the solution
Now I’m going to tell the internet.
HP has gone out of their way to bully people into buying additional coverage, using boomerang phone transfer tactics to NOT ANSWER THE QUESTION!!!!!!
Its in MyHP app.
it’s that easy.
I will never buy HP OR MICROSOFT AGAIN

Hi @motiv8meesh,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to assist you.
I see that you are looking for app settings on your Laptop.
To turn off the inactive app auto darkening feature in multi-window view on your HP Envy x360, you can try the following steps:
Open Settings: Click on the Start menu and select the gear icon to open the Settings app.
System Settings: Go to "System."
Multitasking: Look for the "Multitasking" section in the left sidebar.
Adjust Settings: In the multitasking settings, you may find options related to window management. Look for any settings that pertain to inactive window dimming or darkening, and toggle them off.
If these steps don’t directly address the auto darkening feature, it may also be managed by the specific app you're using or through a graphics settings utility. Check for any related settings in the app or your graphics control panel (like Intel Graphics Command Center or AMD Radeon Software).
Please mark this post as “Accepted Solution” if the issue is resolved and if you feel this reply was helpful click “Yes”.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a great day ahead!
