I have looked in the boards and can't find a direct answer... but admit i am new so maybe haven't looked in correct place..
anyway - there is a display port on back of revolve 810 g3, it is for a monitor (so it states in user guide). Problem is i can't find what type of adapter to use to display to external monitor.
Believe it or not i called tech support this morning and the agent said that he couldn't help me with that - he didn't know what was needed...??? really???
i don't know where else to look. I hope someone can help.
Thanks in advance...
Michelle

Hi,
Yes there is a DisplayPort 1.2 on the PC. Now, the monitor you are trying to connect to what kind of port does it have?
These are the ports which it could have VGA, DVI, Displayport or HDMI. You can look at the links below to figure out what port the Monitor has. Naturally you will also need a cable.
Displayport to VGA (need VGA cable):
https://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-DisplayPort-to-VGA-Adapter/dp/B01CUPAG3S
Displayport to DVI:
Displayport to HDMI:
Let me know if you need further help,
David

Thank You so much!!! Crazy that HP Support wasn't able to point me in that direction.
Anyway - i feel bad b/c i should have been able to find this - maybe more experience will keep me from asking silly questions.
But, nonetheless, i appreciate your time to answer. You are swell 🙂
