Hi @Anand92,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP Pavilion x360 - 14t is stuck in tablet mode and you don't see any settings related to tablet mode in Windows 11, here’s how to troubleshoot and resolve the issue.

Check the Current Mode Setting

  1. Open the Action Center:
    • Press Windows + A or click the network, sound, and battery icons in the bottom-right corner.
  2. Look for the Tablet Mode toggle.
    • If it’s enabled, toggle it off.

Update Display and Touch Drivers

Outdated drivers may cause mode-switching issues.

  1. Right-click Start and select Device Manager.
  2. Expand Display adapters and Human Interface Devices.
  3. Right-click each driver and choose Update driver > Search automatically for updated drivers.
  4. Restart your laptop.

Adjust System Settings

Sometimes the Tablet Mode settings are hidden. To find them:

  1. Press Windows + I to open Settings.
  2. Navigate to System > Multitasking > Tablet mode settings (scroll down).
  3. Look for "When I use this device as a tablet" and adjust the behavior:
    • Set it to Don’t switch to tablet mode.

Check the Rotation Lock Setting

  1. Go to Settings > Display.
  2. Ensure that Rotation Lock is disabled.

Perform a System Restart

A restart may help reset the mode detection mechanism. Fully power off and power on your laptop to see if this resolves the issue.

Run the Hardware Troubleshooter

  1. Open Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters.
  2. Select Hardware and Devices and run the troubleshooter.

Perform a 2-in-1 Mode Reset

The hinge sensor might be misreading the mode. To recalibrate it:

  1. Close the laptop fully into tablet mode.
  2. Reopen it into laptop mode.
  3. Wait for Windows to detect the change.

Reset Your PC Settings

If none of the above works:

  1. Go to Settings > System > Recovery.
  2. Under Reset this PC, choose to Keep my files.
  3. Follow the on-screen steps to reset the system.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
