hello, can you tell me if this docking station is suitable for my laptop, and will it spoil it by supplying power to it, and it cannot be charged via type c?

and machine: https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06965358

 

They are NOT compatible. The dock won't charge your machine when in use. It may charge your machine when idle OR over night

I tested same port and same dock on my machine, it should work on yours.
