Product: HP EliteDisplay E243m 23.8-inch Monitor

After firmware update via USB cable as indicated by HP (latest from HP site) monitor went dead. Can't power up (PS is OK).

Is it possible to revive the monitor or ripe for the waste bin (which is truely horrible for a good monitor in essence).

The build in camera is accesaable vis the usb port.
