HP Recommended

hp elitebook  745 g6 touchpad not working. Touchpad Settings is ok, ran hardware diagnostics came out ok. Tried hardware update but I've been prompted that my touchpad hardware is up-to-date. The keyboard doesn't have a touchpad shortcut. It was ok the day before but today on turning it on, the touchpad isn't working but the 2 buttons on top are working. What might be the issue?
