i did a driver update on my laptop and ever since then my touch screen hasnt worked and yes i made sure it was supportedi mean it even says it right in th products name and is even advertised as touch screen. so how do i fix my screen to b touch again on windows 11

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I understand that your HP notebook touchscreen is not working correctly after driver update. 

  • Have you checked the HID touchscreen device under device manager?
  • Have you tried driver rollback? 

While you respond to that, let's try these steps: 

  1. In Windows, search for and open Device Manager.

  2. Expand the Human Interface Devices list.

  3. Right-click the HID-compliant touch screen device, and then click Enable, if possible. If the Enable option is not available, continue to the next step.

  4. Tap the screen to see if it responds. If it does not, continue with these steps.

  5. Right-click the HID-compliant touch screen device, and then click Uninstall.

  6. Restart the computer to reinstall the touch screen driver.

  7. Tap the screen to see if it responds.
