Hi,

 

Does anybody know is there Elan touchpad software for HP Spectre x360 (2021)?

 

Just got my new Spectre, which is one of the best laptops ever - except the really annoying touchpad.. It seems, that 2021 model has even worse touchpad compared to 2018 model.. 😞 Touchpad has been "updated" to Elan (from Synaptics). 

 

Problem is that with Elan touchpad the mouse pointer goes really "wild" when you try to move it.. I accidently moved some files to random folders - and cannot drag & drop when I try to do it.. There's no logic..

 

With old 2018 Spectre model the Synaptics touchpad could be adjusted by using the dedicated software. Elan's (very limited) adjustments are integrated to Windows 10..

 

So.. if somebody knows a way to download dedicated Elan Touchpad software, help would be appreciated.
