hi, I need some help with finding the drivers for my hp stream 14.
i've installed windows 10 64 bit and now approximately the right hand third of my screen is black.
three pci drivers require further installation:
pci data acquisition and signal processing controller
PCI\VEN8086&DEV_22DC&SUBSYS_82BD103C&REV_35\3&11583659&0&58
pci encryption/decryption controller
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2298&SUBSYS_82BD103C&REV_35\3&11583659&0&D0
SM bus controller
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2292&SUBSYS_82BD103C&REV_35\3&11583659&0&FB
If anyone can help me out with these I will be very grateful.
Thankyou for any assistance.
Kind Regards
Roger (in rainy Yorkshire - England)

Hi:
See if these drivers work:
SM bus controller & the PCI data acquisition and signal processing controller:
Intel Chipset Installation Utility and Driver
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp72001-72500/sp72068.exe
PCI encryption/decryption controller
Intel Trusted Execution Engine Interface Driver

Hi Paul
thank you for recommending those drivers. I really appreciate it. I've downloaded and installed them and, restarted the machine a couple of times, but so far there's no change to the screen.
Do you think if I installed an older version of windows, like 7 or 8.1, the display drivers would work again? I just want a full screen back 🙂
I've tried all sorts of simple things to sort this out but nothing has worked. This is a bit beyond me.
Thank you again for your help
Best regards
Roger

You're very welcome, Roger.
The notebook is not supported for W7 or W8.1.
If you are having a problem with the display size/resolution, see if installing the Intel graphics driver resolves that problem:
Intel High-Definition (HD) Graphics Driver
20.19.15.5070
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp100001-100500/sp100192.exe
If that doesn't work, try reinstalling Windows by making a bootable USB recovery drive with the HP cloud recovery tool.
That will install Windows, the drivers and the software that originally came with your notebook.
Here is an info link for how to use the utility.
You will need a 32 GB USB flash drive to create the recovery media with.
HP Consumer PCs - Using the HP Cloud Recovery Tool in Windows 11 and 10 | HP® Customer Support
You can download the software from the Microsoft Store.
HP Cloud Recovery Tool - Microsoft Store Apps
I believe that you have to use the utility on another PC because yours may not have enough drive space, and you will need to enter the notebook's product number in the tool's search window in order to proceed to make the recovery media.
