hp victus 15 i5 12500h rtx 3050 fa0555tx this my device iam planning to buy a external monitor 180hz monitor so if I use ubc to display port connector in the laptop can get output from dedicated gpu or if not can I change the settings so I can get output from dedicated gpu

Yes, you are right, and I don't know the answer.
Usually how it works the notebook decides which GPU to use based on the graphics demand.
There should also be a setting in the Nvidia app to set certain programs to use the Nvidia graphics (such as games).
