Hi @FidgetKiller99,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you are trying to reinstall the HP Wide Vision 720p camera driver on your HP Victus 15 laptop, follow these steps:

Use Windows Update:

  • Go to Settings > Windows Update > Check for updates.
  • Windows may detect the missing driver and automatically download it. Afterward, restart your laptop to complete the installation.

Device Manager Method:

  • Open Device Manager by pressing Win + X and selecting Device Manager from the list.
  • Scroll down to Imaging devices or Cameras. If you don’t see your camera listed, right-click Camera and select Scan for hardware changes. This can sometimes reinstall the driver if it’s still stored in the system.
  • If the camera appears with a yellow warning icon, right-click on it and select Update driver > Search automatically for drivers.

HP Support Website:

  • Go to the HP Support website and enter your laptop’s model number, HP Victus 15.
  • Look for Drivers or Software and Drivers.
  • In the list of drivers, select Camera or Webcam if available, and download the HP Wide Vision 720p camera driver. Follow the installation instructions provided.

HP Support Assistant:

  • If you have HP Support Assistant installed, open it and go to Updates > Check for updates and messages. It should detect any missing drivers for your laptop and allow you to reinstall the camera driver directly.

After reinstalling the driver, restart your laptop to apply the changes. Let me know if you run into any issues!

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
