Hi @Sekhar93470,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To uninstall the enhanced camera driver on your Victus by HP15.6-inch gaming Laptop, you can follow these steps.

Open Device Manager:

  • Press the Windows Key + X on your keyboard.
  • Select "Device Manager" from the menu that appears.

Locate the Camera Driver:

  • In Device Manager, find the category labeled "Cameras" or "Imaging Devices".
  • Expand this category to reveal the installed camera drivers.

Uninstall the Enhanced Camera Driver:

  • Right-click on the enhanced camera driver you want to uninstall.
  • Select "Uninstall device" from the context menu.
  • If prompted, confirm the uninstallation.

Delete Remaining Files:

  • After uninstalling the driver, it's a good idea to delete any remaining files manually.
  • Open File Explorer and navigate to the following directory: C:\Program Files or C:\Program Files (x86).
  • Look for any folders related to the enhanced camera driver and delete them. Be cautious not to delete necessary system files.

Restart Your Laptop:

  • After uninstalling the driver and deleting its files, restart your laptop to complete the process.

Check for Residual Entries:

  • After restarting, open Device Manager again to ensure that the enhanced camera driver is no longer listed.
  • If you still see any entries related to the driver, you may need to repeat the uninstallation process or consider using a third-party uninstaller tool to remove any remaining traces.

By following these steps, you should be able to successfully uninstall the enhanced camera driver from your laptop. However, please be cautious when deleting files and ensure that you are only removing files related to the camera driver and not essential system files.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
