keyboard backlight needs to have optional on / off command

Spectre 360 15"
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

HP is not keen to solve this issue. They are easily saying that it is only available on expensive business HP machines. 

The keyboard backlight has the feature of turning it On, Dim, & Off (F5 function) on HP Spectre 360 degrees. However, the light will only be ON for 30 seconds and reading through the posts, it seems everyone is annoyed by that. BIOS update has been released where it enables users to manage the backlight time in intervals where the option NEVER is included. But the BIOS update is only for business machines because as HP stated "expensive machines". The fact that I have paid more than £1k for my laptop is considered expensive as well and I need this option SO BAD!

Please HP, appreciate your customers and have this option on your next BIOS updates for the "poor people" like me 🙂

Working on my laptop for research/studying purposes and writing during night time "in dark sometimes" makes this option is vital to have in HP laptops.

 

Once again, please add that feature and don't lose customers!
