Hi @Quinten1,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If you have set the backlight color of your OMEN 16.1-inch gaming laptop's keyboard to white, but the letter "d" remains pink, it could be due to a specific lighting configuration or a hardware issue. Here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot the problem.
- Keyboard Lighting Settings: Double-check your keyboard lighting settings to ensure that the color for the letter "d" is set to white. Some laptops allow individual key customization, so it's possible that the color for that specific key might have been set differently.
- Keyboard Firmware Update: Check if there are any firmware updates available for your OMEN gaming laptop. HP often releases updates that can address issues with keyboard lighting or other hardware-related problems.
- Software or Driver Issue: Make sure you have the latest software and drivers installed for your laptop. Visit the HP website and search for any available updates for your specific model.
- Reset Keyboard Lighting: If possible, try resetting the keyboard lighting settings to their default values. This option is usually available in the keyboard settings.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
