I don't think I have drivers on my computer for my mouse pointer...it is a laptop HP Pavillion 360.

Check if the touchpad is disabled or not. Also you can use external USB mouse so you can navigate and reinstall drivers.

yes it is a laptop...i've had the geek squad do their thing and it comes back for a minute and then is gone..i'm now thinking maybe because the computer overheats alot
