low resolution 1440 x 576 when I connected HP laptop G8 with Samsung 55 Tv by an HDMI cable.

How can I get a high resolution?

Please check your TV setup. In many cases you need to tell your TV you are using a special HDMI port for a computer.

What is your HP laptop G8 ? What is its HDMI version ? Please get a better cable (HDMI 2.0 or above) first.

thanks for your replay

my laptop is HP EliteBook 830 G8 core I7, HDMI version 2.1 also uses good quality HDMI cable

I already update the  display driver but I don't know why the resolution is low when I connect to a big screen
