HP Pavilion DV7
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I've had a problem with my HP Pavilion DV7.

For some reason, the laptop boots up with a resolution to high for my laptop monitor to handle, which causes it to be out of range for some reason.  I'm missing the right part of my screen, as well as the downside of the screen.

I've tried to change the resolution in windows, but that doesn't help.

I find it strange, because even my bios screen is cut off at the right and at the bottom.

I've been rebooting and I still can't get my laptop to boot right, does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Thanks

Since you are facing the same issue in BIOS, this is a Hardware problem with the screen
