I have a Dell Laptop connected to a TES switch/docking station, with two HP 524sh external monitors.  One monitor is showing the correct and recommended resolution of 1920 x 1080, while the other one is showing 1600 x 900.  I am unable to change the display resolution for this monitor to 1920 x 1080; I have uninstalled and reinstalled the display adaptor, switched cables, and restarted my PC and am still unable to show both monitors at the correct 1080 resolution. Please help

Sounds like your Dell machine and your dock are NOT compatible. What are they ? How do you connect them ?

Regards.

Hi BH - thank you for your response!  My Laptop is the Dell Latitude 7420 and the switch is the TESmart USB-C MST&EDID KVM Switch 3 Monitors 2 Computers HDMI+DisplayPort, 4K@60Hz KVM Switch Triple Monitor Dock for Laptop&Desktop, USB 3.0, Charging for Laptop, 1G Ethernet.

Is there anything I can do to help get both monitors to work at the highest/recommended resolution?  Or do I need a newer laptop with better graphics card?  My Omen Desktop PC runs both monitors (as well as a 3rd monitor) at the highest frame rate with no issues... so you're probably right that my Dell Laptop can't handle two monitors at that resolution... but greatly appreciate any ideas on how to fix without changing my laptop (if possible).
