my HP MPP2.0 tilt pen 3J122AA wont connect to my Chromebook x360 14c, is there a way to pair them?

I have a HP Chromebook x360 model 14c, I did my research and it says the stylus should be compatible and yet it isn't recognising my Chromebook.
