The screen on my laptop is increasing and decreasing by, up to, 200%, without my requesting it to. I have had telephone conversation with, so called, Support and was advised to work one-handed. This proved extremely difficult when typing emails, especially when I needed to make a capital or anything else in upper case. Today, 3 days after my call, I had a 'courtesy' call asking how I was getting on. I explained that his answer was not satisfactory and was then told to go and buy a separate keyboard and plug it in to the laptop. This would solve my problem. I pointed out that this was not a solution because it would cease to be a laptop, and I would have to sit at a table in order to use the new setup. I then said it was "not fit for purpose" and I was going to return it. He said I couldn't because I had placed the order on August 28th and, therefore I was out of time.
I am 74 years old, lost my husband of 33 years to the virus in April, used the small legacy to buy a new laptop - never had one before. And all I get is a verbal pat on the head. I am ashamed to admit that he caused me to shed tears. Is there anyone out there that is able to offer any help? Thank you
Thank you for your answer however, when selecting Touchpad there is NO pinch to zoom option. Would you care to suggest exactly WHERE I might find these words. THEN I might be able to carry out your suggestion.
I had to reload this thing before I could carry out your suggestion, because I had deleted and reset everything, prior to returning it, at my own expense. So I got your email on my Dell. Actually that was helpful because it meant I could keep the message in view instead of having to write down all your instructions.
Having found that I could not comply because pinch to zero does not exist, on this Pavilion, I signed onto email on this and clicked on your link to get to the screen I am now writing on. My screen immediately went to 67%. Good 'ere 'innit???????????
