Hi @sam12348,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP Laptop PC 15 is showing an error saying "We can’t find your camera," you can try the following troubleshooting steps.

Check Device Manager:

  • Right-click on the Start menu and select Device Manager.
  • Look for Imaging Devices and check if your camera is listed there. If it's missing or has a yellow exclamation mark, right-click on it and select Update driver.

Check Camera Privacy Settings:

  • Go to Settings > Privacy > Camera.
  • Make sure Allow apps to access your camera is turned on.
  • Also, check if the app you're using has permission to access the camera.

Restart Your Laptop:

  • Sometimes a simple restart can resolve issues with hardware not being recognized.

Check for Windows Updates:

  • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and check for updates. Installing the latest updates might fix the issue.

Run the Hardware and Devices Troubleshooter:

  • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot.
  • Click on Additional troubleshooters and select Hardware and Devices.

Reinstall the Camera Driver:

  • Go to Device Manager.
  • Right-click on the camera device and select Uninstall device.
  • Restart your laptop. Windows should automatically reinstall the driver.

Check BIOS Settings:

  • Restart your laptop and enter the BIOS setup (usually by pressing F10 or Esc during startup).
  • Ensure that the camera is enabled in the BIOS settings.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
