my computer makes a funny sound when, for example, I put my phone down on the mouse pad

it makes the same nois when i put a card with a chip down on the mouse pad

Sounds like the mouse pad is "seeing" the chip inside the phone -- which is unusual but not really an issue, as then you simply would NOT put the phone on the mousepad anymore.
