I have just purchased an HP 15 Touchscreen two days ago AND IT IS DRIVING ME MAD
As I am typing a document, the font is continually minimising to the smallest font possible AND the screen splits into two and four. Additionally, my e-mails now will only type in the most enormous font - say 40 so that I am only able to see one line of typing on a screen. Whilst all this is happening, my toolbar has not altered at all and still features my Font Size 11 that I always use.

Hi lindaniss,
That is a very odd issue that you are experiencing. I will be happy to assist you but I need some additional information. What program are you using to type the document? What email program are you using? What is your operating system? What is your product number?
Find your product number on a notebook:

Finding your OS:

Thank you,

I find that the size changes when my fingers on my left hand rest above the left click button. The little 4 arrow thing that sizes flashes on for a split second and size goes crazy. Computer repairman says he has never heard of such a problem . I am getting a wireless mouse and see if that changes the problem.

I just got the hp 15 for Christmas and it is doing the same thing. And I have a wireless mouse. It is very annoying. Plus my screen will start scrolling as I am typing. (It just did it as I am typing this) Extremely annoying!!
