Hi @Krishna140,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your laptop!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Try these steps:
Access Touchpad Settings:
- Select the Search icon in the taskbar, type touchpad settings in the search box, and press enter.
- Choose the appropriate setting to adjust touchpad sensitivities and gestures.
- Select Start, select Settings, select Bluetooth & devices, and then select Touchpad.
- Using an external mouse, click the Touchpad button.
- If you are not using an external mouse, press the Tab key repeatedly until the pointer rests on the Touchpad button, then press the spacebar to select it.
- Enable Gesture Control:
- Go to the myHP app.
- Select PC Device, and then select Touchpad.
- Turn on Enable gesture control.
- Update Touchpad Driver:
- Open Device Manager by selecting the Search icon in the taskbar, typing device manager in the search box, and selecting the Device Manager app.
- Locate the touchpad device under the list of input devices.
- Right-click the touchpad device and select Update driver.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to update the driver.
- Check for System Updates:
- Right-click on the Start button, then select Apps and Features.
- Ensure your Windows and device drivers are up-to-date by checking for updates in Windows Update settings.
- Reinstall Touchpad Driver:
- In Device Manager, right-click the touchpad device and select Uninstall.
- Restart your laptop. Windows should automatically reinstall the touchpad driver.
I hope this helps.
