The folder or file names are not linear, a few pixels are used to write the words. This problem is also on the whole screen when I open any program/application, even the browser.

2. Adjust Display Scaling & Resolution

  • Open Settings > System > Display.
  • Ensure the Resolution is set to the recommended value.
  • Under Scale and Layout, set scaling to 100% or 125% (avoid custom scaling).

3. Run Display Troubleshooter

  • Open Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters.
  • Scroll down and run the Display Troubleshooter.

4. Check for Windows Updates

  • Open Settings > Windows Update.
  • Install any pending updates, especially those related to graphics drivers.

5. Test with an External Monitor

  • Connect your laptop to an external display.
  • If the issue persists, it’s likely a software problem.
  • If the external monitor displays correctly, the laptop screen may have a hardware issue.

6. Reset Graphics Settings

  • Press Win + Ctrl + Shift + B to reset the graphics driver.
  • Your screen will briefly flicker—check if the issue improves.
