Hi @brkvette123

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you with the numlock issue.

Try these steps to enable fast startup -

1) In the search box, type and open “Power options”.
2) Click on “Choose what the power buttons do”, located on the left side of the window.
3) Click on “Change settings that are currently unavailable”.
4) Under “Shutdown settings”, enable the “Turn on fast startup”.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Please click “Accept as Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.

Click the “Kudos, Thumbs Up" on the bottom right to say “Thanks” for helping!

Have a great day!

Hi @brkvette123

Thanks for replying. Please check the for the numlock settings in BIOS -

1) Shutdown the computer.
2) Turn the computer back on again and repeatedly tap on the ESC until a Startup menu appears.
3) Press F10 once for BIOS.

4) Go to the Advanced Options. scroll down and look for Num Lock. Enable the Num Lock when booting > Save and Exit the BIOS.

If the issue still persists, try changing the registry value to 2147483650.

Let me know.
