HP ENVY x360 15.6 inch 2-in-1 Laptop PC 15-ey0000 (54J83AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

On the Envy X360 there is the "HP Pen Control PLUS Application" preinstalled.
I uninstalled it incidently, but can not reinstall it, as the "HP Pen Control PLUS App" is neither in the Microsoft Store nor on the Software and Drivers Section on the HP Hompage.
Microsoft Store > "HP Pen Control" (without Plus) is not compatible, as the app states, when started.
My Pen HP Tilt MPP 2.0 is working, but I cannot configure the buttons.

Hp does not typically provide downloads for their built-in apps because it is not expected that customers will remove them.

What works in Retail Windows installs is something know as a Repair-Install where you take a Windows ISO download, expand the contents to a folder on your drive, and run Windows install.  It then overwrites the Windows system files from the ISO files, essentially replacing Windows.

But I don't believe you can do that with an OEM version -- as least, it's always failed when I have tried it.

If you are able to create an ISO download using the HP Cloud Recover tool (see below), you can use that to reinstall Windows but it will remove EVERYTHING now on it, so you would not only have to back up all your personal data to restore it, you would also lose all settings and apps that you installed.  You would have to manually recreate all those setting and reinstall those apps.

If you are interested in doing this, let me know and I'll provide a link to the tool.

Im am using HP Notebooks for ages.
There always is a complete HP recovery on the harddisk, but I do not want to spoil several days to reinstall and reconfigure all programs, just for a small app.

The HP apps and programs are normally available on the HP software and driver section and lately many of them in the Microsoft Store.
In this case for the pens it is only the "HP Pen Control" (without Plus) which works with many other models, but not with any X360 series. For those the  "HP Pen Control PLUS Application" (AD2F1837.HPPenControlPlus_1.1.7.0_x64__v10z8vjag6ke6) is preinstalled and needed.

I suppose, that somebody just forgot to document it properly and as a consequence, it is not available anywhere.

There is not even any information on the HP Homepage about the "Plus" Version.
